The sense of God's calling on your life has led you to this point: you are looking into seminary. Whether God is calling you to shepherd a local community of Christ followers, proclaim the Gospel in a cross-cultural setting, mentor young people in the faith or plant a church, at LBS you will be part of a community that embraces a Christ-centered understanding of Scripture, that cultivates skills for doing ministry, that exhibits attitudes that characterize God's servants and that seeks to model Godly character in life and ministry. The Seminary community believes that God has created, equipped and sent His Church into the world to participate in His mission of grace to bless all nations in His Son Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that our students will be shaped by the Words and Wounds of Christ to live as servants of Christ in God's Church and world. For over 100 years, LBS has been teaching that good news and training others to do the same.
